CARIBOO—On December 7 and 8, Mounties in Quesnel hosted their fifth annual Stuff a Cruiser Campaign. Officers and volunteers accepted donations of non-perishable food, clothing, toys, pet food and cash as they tried to fill as many police cars as possible.

This year their campaign raised:

  • $4583 in cash and gift cards
  • 2028 pounds of food
  • Over 800 individual toys (equalling 1060 pounds)
  • Numerous personal hygiene and clothing donations.

The donations will be going to support food banks in Quesnel, as well as Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Senior’s Voice Society.

“We would like to offer a special thanks to Active Rent-All who not only donated the use of an enclosed trailer and equipment each year, but also provide a large donation of items to support the event. This event would not be successful without the amazing support from the community.” said Sgt. Clay Kronebusch.
