Snowfall warning issued for Pine Pass

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Pine Pass.

About 15 centimetres of snow is expected between Williston and Pine Pass with the snow forecasted to fall Friday night through Saturday.

The national forecaster attributes the snowfall to a frontal system and remind motorists that “rapidly accumulating snow can make travel difficult.”

“Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. while weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.”
