Beaverly gas station robbery leads to three arrests
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP arrested three suspects they allege robbed a gas station in Beaverly Monday night.
Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper says the theft occurred at a gas station on the 11400-block of Carmel Drive just after 8:30 p.m.
She says the lone gas station attendant reported that two people came into the store, demanded money and cigarettes, and then left in a waiting red pickup truck.
“Police officers attended the location and observed the pickup truck driving eastbound down Peden Hill. The vehicle failed to stop for police and took off at a high rate of speed. Investigators subsequently located the vehicle at the intersection of Highway 97 North and Tenth Avenue, where it had been involved in a collision with another vehicle.”
