Fire destroys building at Red Rock weigh scale

PRINCE GEORGE — Fire crews responded to a blaze at the Red Rock weigh scale, just south of Prince George on Highway 97, early Tuesday morning.

The fire destroyed a building on the property. No word on the cause of the fire or if anyone was injured. North District RCMP says the fire was reported at 6:22 a.m.

Crews from four volunteer fire halls responded with damages estimated at $850,000.
