Canadian Home Builders’ Association announces new Executive Officer
PRINCE GEORGE— The Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) of Northern B.C.’s Board of Directors have announced their new Executive Officer, Katherine Carlson.
Carlson is an alumni of the University of Northern British Columbia. the CHBA says that Carlson will be bringing her experience in nonprofit organization leadership having most recently been the Executive Director for the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum. In addition, Carlson is actively invested as a Rotarian and a membership lead with Team Rubicon Canada.
“I believe that leadership is the spearhead that propels an organization forward,” sates Carlson “At the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC, this means advancing through advocacy, education, and the latest in building technology. I’m thrilled to connect with and collaborate with industry leaders, represent the industry’s voice, contribute to equitable policy-making, learn from various stakeholders, and both encourage and be inspired in professional development endeavors aimed at benefiting the industry and consumers alike.”
Carlson officially assumes the position on January 6, 2025. She is succeeding Terri McConnachie, who led the association for over a decade.
