PRINCE GEORGE — Colleen Van Mook has announced she’ll retire as executive director of Downtown Prince George effective May 2, 2025.

Van Mook has held the position since 2015 and over that time, the Downtown Prince George Board of Directors say her efforts “have left an indelible mark on our organization and the Prince George community.”

“Colleen’s leadership has been instrumental in the creation and expansion of the programs that we offer. We’ve made great progress as an organization in her time here. Her vision and commitment have truly been an inspiration to us all. We wish her and her family the very best as she embarks on this new life journey,” said Eoin Foley, Board President.

The Board of Directors say the search process will be thorough and inclusive, and will welcome applications from candidates who share their vision for a thriving downtown.
