Quesnel RCMP investigate weekend home invasion

QUESNEL — Quesnel RCMP are investigating a home invasion that occurred early Sunday morning (Jan.12).

Police say it occurred just after 2 .a.m on the 300-block of Hoy Street. Two suspects broke into a home, sprayed the victim with bear spray and damaged several items.

RCMP say the suspects were identified as an armed 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman.

The woman was arrested outside her home on the 400-block of North Fraser Drive where a search warrant was later executed.

The man was not there and is still missing. RCMP say the suspects and the victim know each other. The search for the 26-year-old continues.
