Two TWolves record career-highs in defeat to Spartans
PRINCE GEORGE — Viktoriia Filatova and Marcus Wilson recorded career-highs at Brownridge Court as the UNBC Timberwolves dropped a pair of home games against the Trinity Western Spartans Saturday (Jan. 18) night.
In women’s action, the TWolves dropped to 3-9, after an 88-62 defeat to the 7-5 Spartans.
Filatova, a second-year guard, led the way with a career-high 20 points. Sveta Boykova followed with 11 while first-year forward Avin Jahangiri added nine points for the Timberwolves.
In men’s action, the 1-11 TWolves were beaten 75-57 by the 6-7 Spartans.
