Advisory Committee on Accessibility and Inclusion seeks new members

PRINCE GEORGE— The Advisory Committee on Accessibility and Inclusion (ACAI) is inviting people to join their board.

The ACAI is responsible for providing advice to Mayor and Council and City staff on ways to reduce physical, social and attitudinal barriers. The committee will help identify these barriers that way everyone in the City of Prince George can fully participate in the community.

The members of the ACAI should represent individuals with disabilities, people who support individuals with disabilities, or individuals with interest and/or experience with improving diversity and inclusion and reflects the diversity of persons in Prince George.

There are five volunteer positions available for a two-year term, ending on March 31, 2027. The ACAI meets quarterly in January, April, July, and October on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

To have an application form mailed to you contact the Legislative Services Division. The deadline to apply is February 20, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
