KAMLOOPS — The UNBC women’s basketball team kicked off the weekend in fine fashion with a 76-60 win over the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack in Kamloops Friday (Jan.24).
The win improves UNBC’s record to 4-9 while the Wolfpack dropped to 0-15.Amrit Manak led all UNBC scorers with a career-high 20 while Sveta Boykova had 16 points.
With the win, the Twolves remain tied for the fifth playoff spot in the Pacific Division with UBCO.
The teams meet again Saturday at 4 p.m. in Kamloops.
