Spruce Kings acquire defenseman
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired defenseman Brendan Gillmore (05′) from the Blackfalds Bulldogs in exchange for future considerations.
Gillmore is 5’11, 170 pounds and hails from North York, Ontario. Last year he played 41 games for the Bulldogs and had three goals and three assists.
This season, Gillmore has played in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the Northeast Generals, and most recently the, the Fairbank Ice Dogs. In 29 NAHL games, he had five goals and 13 assists for 18 points.
“Brendan is a nice addition for us,” says Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes. “He is a smart player with a very good skill set who will add an offensive component to our back end. We’re looking forward to getting him into our lineup.”
