Inaugural B2B event set to go
PRINCE GEORGE – Registration is underway for the inaugural B2B Expo in Prince George next month. Hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures and the City, B2B aims to connect existing businesses in the community with potential entrepreneurs. The event targets small businesses in the community, helping those who are normally caught up in the business of running a business and aren’t able to network.
B2B aims to open those doors and forge new opportunities.
“We’re really tailoring this for the small businesses, the microbusinesses, and even aspiring entrepreneurs, people who are thinking, ‘Gee, I’d like to start my own business, but maybe I should go to something like this and actually meet people who are already working in this space.’ So that they know what they’re getting into and frankly, also be inspired and to make those connections,” explains Neil Godbout, Executive Director of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
So, at the tail end of the event, what would be considered a measure of success for this event?
