Baukin has 16 points in Twolves home-court loss against UFV

PRINCE GEORGE — UNBC’s Evgeny Baukin had 16 points and seven rebounds in a 90-67 loss to the visiting University of the Fraser Valley Cascades at Brownridge Court at the Northern Sports Centre Friday afternoon (Jan.31).
Dario Lopez lead the Cascades with a game-high 25 points and 12 rebounds.
The teams played before an enthusiastic crowd full of kids from School District 57. The loss dropped UNBC’s record to 1-14. The win improved UFV’s record to 8-9.
The teams play again Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Brownridge Court.
