Manak, Kuklisin score 12 each as UNBC fall to UFV Friday

PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team dropped the opener of a weekend double-header with the Fraser Valley Cascades by a 77-56 score Friday (Jan. 31) night.
Sarah Kuklisin and Amrit Manak led the way for the TWolves with 12 each while Sveta Boykova finished with 13 rebounds.
The loss takes the UNBC women to 4-11 on the season, just outside of a playoff position, while the Cascades improve to 12-5 to sit in second place in the Pacific Division.
Earlier in the day Friday, the UNBC men dropped a 90-67 decision to the Cascades in the school day game.
