QUESNEL B.C. — Mounties in Quesnel say a search warrant carried out as part of an investigation into alleged gun manufacturing turned up multiple guns as well as drugs.

In a news release, RCMP say the Quesnel Crime Reduction Unit executed the search warrant at a property in the 700 block of Avison Avenue, on the west side of the city on Thursday (Jan. 30).

They say officers seized nine guns, multiple firearm parts and two 3-D printers, along with 60 grams of methamphetamine, an ounce of cocaine and seven grams of crack cocaine. Police also seized 150 cartons of contraband cigarettes and approximately $4,800 in cash.

“Due to the good work done by the Crime Reduction Unit, several firearms have been removed from the streets,” Quesnel RCMP Sgt. Clay Kronebusch said in the release.
