‘Cougar fight Cancer’ night returns mega 50/50 jackpot
PRINCE GEORGE— ‘Cougars fight Cancer’ returns to the CN Centre on Friday, February 28, when the Cats take on their division rivals, the Kamloops Blazers. The night aims to unite the community in the fight against cancer while fundraising for research and support services.
With the support of PRD construction, the night will also feature one of the largest 50/50 draws of the season. The 50/50 has a guaranteed $50,000, with all proceeds frim the draw going to the BC Cancer Foundation.
The players will be stepping onto the ice in specialty jerseys, which will be revealed at a later date. Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on the game-worn sweaters, with the funds benefitting the BC Cancer Foundation.
The Cougars will also support the Kordyban Lodge “Peace of Mind Fund” with the help of Kal Tire. Kal Tire’s raffle features multiple prizes of varying values, including $4,000, $2,500, and $1,000. Some of the prizes up for grabs include a $500 Kal Tire gift card, multiple gift baskets, cleaning services from Spotless Dry Cleaners, a 30-day Northern Baseball Training package, and more.
