Prince George gymnasts have success in Langley before PG Invitational
PRINCE GEORGE— Gymnasts from Prince George Gymnastics competed against and alongside more than 1,200 athletes at last weekends Christy Fraser Memorial Invitational. The athletes put on a good showing coming away with plenty of hardware.
“A lot of the Lower Mainland coaches were talking about how they were the team to beat this weekend, and they were,” said competitive coach with Prince George Gymnastics, Jenn Watt.
Some of the standout performers on the weekend were Brianna Perry, Sophia Schwab and Alencia Graham. Perry placed second on bars, third on beam and floor, Schwab placed first on vault and beam and third on bars and floor, and Graham placed second on vault and floor, third on bars and all three grabbed first in all around.
