PRINCE GEORGE— With Chuck Chin being receiving, posthumously, the 2025 Jeanne Clarke Service Award, the Prince George Community Foundation (PGCF) is making a financial contribution to his legacy.

The PGCF is donating $5,000 to the Chuck Chin Legacy Fund. The foundation adds that this funding showcases their commitment to recognizing individuals that make a lasting impact on the community of Prince George.

“We are thrilled to make this contribution to the Chuck Chin Legacy Fund and celebrate Chuck’s incredible contributions to Prince George,” says Rae-Ann Noonan, Executive Director of PGCF. “This fund embodies his passion for supporting youth and ensuring everyone has access to sport, regardless of financial circumstances.”

The Chuck Chin Legacy Fund was established in 2024 in support of the Prince George Secondary School (PGSS) Hockey program through School District #57. The fund helps provide an opportunity to play hockey for youth facing financial barriers, fostering both inclusivity and sportsmanship in our community.
