SMP RV make large donation to College Heights varsity football team
PRINCE GEORGE— Following the third annual Northern BC RV and Outdoor Expo last week at the CN Centre, SMP RV have made a donation of $6,412.50 to the College Heights Varsity Football team.
“It’s huge. It helps with the kids travel costs, expenses and just the program in general. We’re very, very thankful to SMP and the Northern RV show for giving us the opportunity to get out there and raise some funds,” said Grant Erickson, the head coach of the College Heights varsity football team.
“We saw this opportunity that we can get a local sports team to run the door of the event and all the proceeds they take would go towards their travel and their sports,” said SMP RV General Manager, J.C. Brown. “It’s nice to give back to the community and youth today.”
