Giants snap Cougars winning streak at 7

LANGLEY — The Vancouver Giants defeated the Prince George Cougars 3-1 in Langley Sunday afternoon before 3,919 fans at the Langley Events Centre.
Borya Valis scored the Cougars lone goal, his 33rd of the season. The Cougars outshot the Giants 37-28 with Joshua Ravensbergen taking the loss in net.
Vancouver’s victory snapped the Cougars seven-game win streak.
Prince George now sports a 38-20-4-2 record and are tied for first in the WHL’s B.C. Division with Victoria though the Royals have two games in hand.
