PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Mounties are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred around 6 p.m. on March 3, 2025.

Police say a youth was walking along Holmes Road near Ellis Road and was struck by a passing vehicle.

“Thankfully, the youth was not seriously injured. We are reaching out to the public to see if anyone has video surveillance or dash camera footage that would help move this investigation forward”, states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

The vehicle is described as a black or grey pick up truck, possibly a GMC or a Dodge Ram. It may have had a lift kit and had metal racks in the bed of the truck. The truck continued west along Holmes Road after striking the victim.
