
Planned power outage to impact close to 15,000 homes
PRINCE GEORGE – A planned power outage by BC Hydro has been making the rounds on social media and has been the talk of the town recently, as it is set to impact 14,882 homes.
The BC Hydro website says it will impact Prince George, Beaverly, Hoferkamp, Miworth, Ness Lake, and Willow River. The outage is scheduled to take place on March 30 from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following day. The cause listed is “planned work being done on our equipment.
Also listed for the same time is a separate planned outage that will impact 2265 homes, with this one being for a pole replacement in Prince George. You can learn more about planned power outages on BC Hydro’s website.
