Carport and fence fire under investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue doused a structure fire on the 2100-block of Oak Street Friday morning (March 21).
Crews from two firehalls responded at approximately 6:45 a.m. to find a temporary carport and fence on fire with firefighters able to prevent it from spreading.
There were no injuries and damages are estimated at $10,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
