MEGA 50/50 draw to support cardiac care
PRINCE GEORGE — An extra incentive to attend the Prince George Cougars game Saturday night (March 22).
When the Cougars host the Victoria Royals in the final game of the regular season, not only is the BC Division on the line, but you have the chance to purchase a ticket for the MEGA 50/50 with 100% of local proceeds going toward critical equipment for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU).
“Our cardiac care team delivers exceptional, lifesaving care in the North every day,” says Aimee Cassie, CEO of Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. “But the need continues to grow. The support of our community through the MEGA 50/50 helps ensure our patients have access to the best equipment and treatment while we work towards full interventional cardiac care —right here at home.”
Throughout the weekend, cardiac care nurses will be on site at the CN Centre, helping fans understand just how vital this equipment is and showcasing the incredible work being done every day to care for Northern hearts.
