PRINCE GEORGE – Chief Dolleen Logan is running for her third term as Chief of the Lheidli T’enneh after serving as Councillor for three terms. She was the first woman in Lheidli T’enneh’s history to win back-to-back elections for the role of Chief.
“It’s not about me,” she says, noting that decisions are made as Chief and Council with many of the projects that have been achieved in recent years can be directly attributed to the work of her predecessors.
During her tenure as Chief, the Lheidli T’enneh have inked a community forest agreement with the Province and built a new daycare adjacent to the Exploration Place and secured a wind-energy project near Hixon.
The Lheidli T’enneh will hold its election on April 9th.
