Suspicious death in Chetwynd

CHETWYND — Chetwynd RCMP are investigating what they’re calling a suspicious death.
Police were called to a home on Sunday, March 9 after the Chetwynd Fire Department and Emergency Health Services responded to a call for a person in medical distress.
Police arrived on scene to find the woman deceased but don’t believe there is a further risk to the public.
“No arrests have been made and no further information is available at this time,” says North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson. “More details may be released as they become available.”
