Planned power outage going ahead as scheduled this Sunday night
PRINCE GEORGE — Fewer people than originally anticipated will be affected by Sunday’s planned power outage in Prince George.
The outage will start at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 30 and will wrap up at approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, March 31.
“This outage was originally planned to impact more than 14,000 customers but was recently revised to 12,000 after a re-assessment of the work that needs to take place,” says a BC Hydro news release.
“Customers who will no longer be impacted by this planned outage have already received cancellation notifications including automated telephone calls and postcards. BC Hydro is now issuing a second round of notifications to all customers who will still be affected by this upcoming work on Sunday evening.”
