PRINCE GEORGE — Chrisie Berry is the new executive director at Downtown Prince George.

Berry replaces the outgoing Colleen Van Mook and will start her new job on April 7.

Berry brings over a decade of experience in communications, community relations, and stakeholder engagement. She has been working for the Prince George Airport Authority for the past seven years, most recently as the communications and community relations coordinator.

“We were thoroughly impressed by Chrisie’s passion for building connections and her track record of strengthening relationships with diverse groups, including Indigenous communities, non-profits, and the business community,” said Eoin Foley, President of the Board of Directors.

“We are excited to see her bring this energy and expertise to Downtown Prince George.” Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Chrisie Berry shared, “I am looking forward to using my education and experience to foster deeper engagement, support business leadership, enhance communications, and elevate customer experiences in our downtown. This is a tremendous opportunity to advocate for inclusive, community-driven initiatives and to strengthen the vibrancy of Prince George’s downtown core.”
