Cougars on brink of elimination following Game 4 double overtime loss to Winterhawks

PORTLAND — It will be do or die for the Prince George Cougars Friday night in Portland.

This after the Cats suffered a heartbreaking double overtime loss in Game 4 versus the Winterhawks Wednesday night, 5-4 in front of 3,929 fans at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Diego Buttuzzoni scored the game winner at the 17:57 mark of the second overtime period.

Portland outshot the Cougars 56-53 with Cougars goals coming from Borya Valis Matteo Danis, Koehn Ziemmer, and Carson Carels. It was the longest Cougars game in team history.
