Horsefly realtor named new BC Northern Real Estate Board Chair

PRINCE GEORGE — The BC Northern Real Estate Board (BCNREB) says Victor Khong has been elected as chair for the 2025-26 term, which got underway Friday (April 4).

Khong has been a realtor with Horsefly Realty since 2014, and he has served on a number of BCNREB committees, including the Provincial, Federal, and Municipal Government Liaison Committees; the Audit Committee; the Finance Committee; and the Technology Committee.

“I look forward to serving our membership who are committed to real estate excellence in northern British Columbia,” he said in a news release. “Our collective goal is to have trusted real estate professionals in every community.”

Khong takes over from Kristine Newell of Team Powerhouse Realty in Prince George, who will serve as past chair. Vanita Des Mazes of RE/MAX Bulkley Valley in Smithers will serve as the BCNERB’s new vice president.

Founded in 1966, the BCNREB says it represents more than 420 realtors across northern and north central British Columbia.
