Spruce Kings beat Chiefs 3-1

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings beat the Chilliwack Chiefs 3-1 Tuesday night before 929 fans at Kopar Memorial Arena.

The Kings trailed 1-0 heading into the third period before they scored three consecutive goals, starting with Brock Cummings at the 7:34 mark of the third period.

Nicolas Papineau scored the game winner less than a minute later with Will Moore clinching the victory with a minute and twenty seconds left to play.

Prince George outshot the Chiefs 32-19 with Charles Edward-Gravel picking up the win in net.
