PRINCE GEORGE – They may have been separated by 27 points in the regular season standings, but the Prince George Spruce Kings are all even with the Chilliwack Chiefs in their first round BCHL playoff series.
Linden Makow scored two goals and Charles-Edward Gravel made 43 stops in net as the Spruce Kings topped the Chiefs 5-2 in front of nearly 11 hundred fans at Kopar Memorial Arena.
The Spruce Kings scored twice on the power play and Owen Goodbrand sealed the victory with a shorthanded goal into an empty net at 18:49 of the third period.
