“Pilsner! Pretzels! Pianos!” returns for second year in a row
PRINCE GEORGE – Following incredible community feedback from last year’s “Pilsner! Pretzels! Pianos!” event, the CN Centre is happy to announce that it will be making its return on October 18, 2025.
“For the first time, we set up the pianos in the round so they’re right in the center of the arena, and then around it we had various vendors selling all kinds of drinks, wines, ciders, beers, some food, pretzels, all kinds of tasty October-type of food. People had such a good time because you can still be out there purchasing your drinks, socializing with your friends, and yet you’re still really connected to the Dueling Piano Kings playing in the middle of the rink,” said the CN Centre’s Manager Glen Mikkelsen.
The Dueling Piano Kings are a performing duo with decades of experience performing, as they have toured internationally and played for prominent personalities like Tom Hanks and Bill Clinton, among many others. Their show is all about audience engagement, as they take requests from the audience and play them live right away, so they promise that no two shows will ever be the same.
“They can play all kinds of music from rock, country, jazz, heavy metal, anything. Any requests that you might have, they seem able to play it, so it’s just a tremendous, interactive, kind of experience, different than most concerts where you’re not just sitting there listening. You’re actually kind of part of the show with them,” Mikkelsen said.
