Conservative Todd Doherty re-elected in Cariboo-Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Conservative Todd Doherty is heading back to Ottawa.

The Cariboo-Prince George candidate won re-election Monday night. With 30/266 polls reporting Doherty had 3,314 votes, or 57.3 per cent of the vote. Liberal Clinton Emslie had 1,827 votes, or 31.6 per cent of the votes. The NDP’s Angie Bonazzo is in third place with 418 votes, or 7.2 per cent of the votes.

Doherty has held the riding since 2015.
