RCMP investigating allegation of sexual interference near Prince George school

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP confirm they have an ongoing investigation involving an allegation of sexual interference following an incident at Ecole Lac des Bois in March.

Police say the suspect was arrested within days of the incident occurring but note the suspect’s name has not been released.

In light of this incident, police urge parents to discuss safety awareness and provide “stranger danger” tips like who strangers are and how to recognize suspicious behaviour.
