Volunteers needed in search for Alice Chingee

MCLEOD LAKE — A ground search has been scheduled for Saturday, June 7 in McLeod Lake to try and locate Alice Chingee.

Alice was reported missing to the Mackenzie RCMP on Thursday, July 18, 2024 and her family last heard from her on July 15, 2024.

She is described as:

  • 63-years-old
  • 5’6
  • 150 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Last seen wearing a green t-shirt and grey pants

At the time of her disappearance, information received indicated she may have been hitchhiking to either Saskatoon or Vancouver.

“Someone knows what happened and potentially holds the key to solving this and providing answers to her family,” said North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson in February, 2025.
