Frontline RCMP officers make significant drug seizure

PRINCE GEORGE — Frontline officers with the Prince George RCMP have made a significant drug seizure.

Police say that on Monday, May 19, 2025, “a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a residence on the 1300-block of Eaglet Crescent.”

Items seized from the residence were:

• 50 cartons of contraband cigarettes
• Approximately 500 grams of suspected Methamphetamine
• Approximately 500 grams of suspected Cocaine
• Over 40 grams of suspected Fentanyl
• More than 20 grams of suspected Ketamine
• Approximately 20 grams of suspected Psilocybin
• Over 100 grams of suspected pharmaceuticals
• Over $2700 Canadian currency
• Just over $300 American currency

One man, who was known to police, was arrested when the warrant was executed, he was released later that day. Any potential charges related to the drugs seized are pending further laboratory analysis.
