Annual kidney walk set to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park Sunday morning

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George and area residents will gather at the Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park Sunday (June 1) morning for the annual Kidney Walk.
They’ll be aiming to raise awareness as well as $20,000 to support people living with kidney disease.
“Every city has its own goal, and collectively, we’re hoping to raise over $300,000 on Sunday in B.C. alone,” Ramya Hosak, the the Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships at the Kidney Foundation of Canada said.
“That money goes toward kidney health research as well as patient services and programs for patients right here in B.C.”
