City to host ‘Concert in the Park’ June 28

PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George is inviting residents to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park on June 28 for a ‘Concert in the Park.’

The concert will include live music and food trucks and starts at 1 p.m. at the bandshell with Aquiles Tarumba. The music covers a variety of genres – some folk, jazz, alternative rock and pop.

Indie/folk artists The Verdants hit the stage at 2 p.m. followed by multi-instrumentalist Andrew Judah at 3 p.m.

The City is inviting food truck owners to participate. They can apply on the city’s website by June 13 at 5 p.m. A second concert is planned for August 22 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
