19 year old fatally injured in Friday night crash

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP have released more details regarding Friday evening’s fatal accident on the 3700-block of 15th Avenue.
Police says the incident occurred when a group of people were gathered in the area together. Mounties say a 19-year-old man who was part of the group was struck by a vehicle driven by another member of that group. The man was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries hours later.
The 19-year-old female driver of the vehicle was located near the scene and was arrested for impaired driving causing bodily harm. Police notice that she was released pending a future court date and is cooperating with the investigation. Investigators are now hoping to hear from anyone who has cell phone, video or dash cam footage of the incident.
