Fourplex fire displaces 9 residents

PRINCE GEORGE — Nine people have been forced from their homes following a structure fire early Wednesday morning (June 11).

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the fire in the 1200-block of Cuddie Crescent at approximately 2:40 a.m.

Crews from three halls arrived to find a heavily involved fourplex with fire coming from two units. The fire was extinguished by on-scene crews.

All nine tenants of the fourplex were supported by the City’s Emergency Support Services.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and is currently under investigation. The dollar loss is estimated at $300,000.
