One pedestrian killed, another severely injured in Vanderhoof

VANDERHOOF — A tragic collision claimed the life of an adult man and severely injured another person Sunday afternoon in Vanderhoof (June 15).

Vanderhoof RCMP responded to the collision just after 3:20 p.m. at Highway 16 and Pine Street. Police say it involved a vehicle and two pedestrians. The adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene while the other pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and that there are no other details available at this time.
