RCMP preach cyclist safety as summer approaches

PRINCE GEORGE — With the warmer weather, local Mounties are reminding cyclists to be safe when out on the road.
“We are seeing more cyclists on the roadways with the warmer weather. We encourage cyclists to wear a helmet, be visible and be aware of the proper hand signals while using the road,” says Cst. Jenna Moore, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
Police also remind all users of the road to avoid distractions and obey posted speed limits and road signs.
