PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are looking for information after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Monday, June 16.

The incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Eleventh Avenue and Victoria Street.

Police say the driver fled the area after the incident. The vehicle is described as a small, silver, four door hatchback. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Despite gathering evidence from the scene, Mounties have been unable to positively identify the suspect vehicle and are hoping anyone who was in the area that night and may have seen the vehicle and have dash camera, cell phone or video surveillance to contact police.

Investigators are releasing dash camera footage of the suspect vehicle (see the video above) in the hopes that someone may recognize the car and know of its current whereabouts. If you have any information, call police at (250)561-3300, or Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
