New WestJet flight to Edmonton takes off Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — After being announced in May, the new WestJet flight to Edmonton will be taking off Saturday.

Beginning Saturday, July 5, WestJet Encore will fly from YXS – Prince George Airport to YEG – Edmonton International Airport, twice a week throughout the peak summer travel season.

Here is the flight schedule:

Departing Edmonton (YEG) @ 5:45pm MDT, Arriving Prince George (YXS) @ 6:15pm PDT

The route will be operated by WestJet’s smaller Dehavilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.
