Downtown power outage affected over 200 hydro customers

PRINCE GEORGE — Update (11:30): Power has been restored.

Update: According to BC Hydro, the outage was caused by a motor vehicle incident near Quebec Street and Fourth Avenue. No further details have been released.

Earlier: There’s a power outage in downtown Prince George.

The power outage started at 10:41 a.m. but the cause has not been released. A total of 232 BC Hydro customers are affected.

BC Hydro has assigned a crew to deal with the outage. The affected areas are outlined in the map below:
