Kodiaks beaten by Rebels in 2025 home and season opener

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Kodiaks opened the 2025 BC Football Conference season with defeat at home Saturday (July 19) night.

The Kodiaks fell 33-13 to the Westshore Rebels from Langford at Masich Place Stadium. Prince George led 10-5 at the half, but gave up 28 second half points to fall to 0-1.

The Kodiaks will look to bounce back next Saturday (July 26) when they travel to Kamloops to play the Broncos. Kick off from Hillside Stadium is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

The Broncos are also 0-1 after they were beaten 50-7 by the Vancouver Islanders Raiders in their home opener Saturday.
