Catch up with former PG Cougars netminder Ty Young

The Prince George Cougars have produced a ton of quality goaltenders in recent years and included in that long list is Ty Young who was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks and turned pro in the 2024-25 season. Young spent time with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL and the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks where he posted an 8-3-0-0 record with a .904 SV% and 2.72 GAA in 11 games played. Young was also recently featured on The Amazing Race Canada!
