KELOWNA — The Prince George Kodiaks started well against the unbeaten Okanagan Sun in BC Football Conference action Saturday (Aug. 2), but they couldn’t keep up that momentum.

The Kodiaks were beaten 35-11 to sit 1-2 on the season, while the Sun improved to 3-0.

Prince George led 11-0 after the first quarter at the Apple Bowl Stadium as the Sun gave up their first points of the season. The Sun rallied with 13 points in the second quarter to lead 13-11 at half time, and they added 22 points in the second half.

The Kodiaks are off next weekend on a bye but they’ll then host the Langley Rams in two weeks on Saturday, August 16, at Masich Place Stadium.
