Evacuation alerts lifted for Dorman Lake and Trembleur Lake wildfires

FORT ST JAMES — Good news on the wildfire front west of Prince George.

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako has rescinded the two evacuation alerts issued earlier this month for both the Dorman Lake wildfire and the Trembleur Lake wildfire.

Both fires were caused by lightning – the Dorman Lake fire peaked at 382.5 hectares in size while the Trembleur Lake wildfire grew to 21.2 hectares.
